Paul Andon (PhD, FCA) is currently a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the University of News South Wales (Sydney, Australia). Paul has curriculum development and teaching experience in a range of management accounting and introductory financial accounting courses at undergraduate, masters, and MBA levels. Paul also has experience teaching research methodology and management accounting research courses to HDR students. Paul's teaching quality was recently recognised at the 2013 Australian School of Business Staff Excellence Awards.
With respect to his research, Paul specialises in case-based research methods, with a focus on contemporary issues associated with public governance and accountability, customer profitability and valuation, new assurance services, and fraud.
Paul has published in internationally refereed journals, including Accounting, Organizations and Society, Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, and Management Accounting Research. Paul's research achievements were recently recognised through the receipt of a Non-professorial Research Achievement Awards from the Australian School of Business.
Prior to joining UNSW, Paul was employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Assurance and Business Advisory Services division, specialising in technology, communications and entertainment clients. Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.
